Anarkali Suit Designs

Anarkali suits are very much in fashion right now and I've been getting requests to post up more designs so I thought I would oblige. Here are the latest Anarkali suit designs, everything from designer Anarkalis to Bollywood vogue Anarkali suits to plain cotton Anarkalis...everything and anything 'Anarkali' that's hot right now is here in this little post! I'll describe the ones I think are creative and/or stunning. Enjoy!

How Bollywood Wore It

Here's Bipasha Basu rocking a gorgeous hot pink Anarkali churidar. It's a simple, no-nonsense type of outfit and it's exquisitely cut!

I absolutely adore this Anarkali ensemble because of the colours. This is my absolute, all time favourite colour combination. It's pretty, it's feminine, it's...well, it reminds me of cotton candy! The design and fabric are beautiful too.

Anarkali Suits/Dresses to Rival Bollywood

You don't have to be a Bollywood starlet you wear gorgeous outfits these days. Designer quality sarees, lengha cholis and now Anarkali suits are all available for retail purchase. Here are a few trendy, beautiful, creative Anarkali suits and dresses.

'Pretty in pink' has a whole new meaning!

"Height of stylish glamour showcased in multi paneled teal Blue Georgette flaired kurta with antique coin work daman attached to inbuilt Lycra net full sleeved cropped jacket with zardosi creeper running along the sleeves teamed with gathered silk churidar."

I love the jeweled straps and the contrasting turquoise dhupatta and pants.

Wow! Great back design. Very sexy and very cleanly cut.

"Strawberry Pink jacquard brasso cross paneled Anarkali kurta with high waist cross over antique coin worked flap over mesh inner worn with matching tight crepe churidar and Georgette dupatta."

"Exotic - stylish double layered flaired long kurta in jacquard chiffon Beige and lilac attached to high waist bodice brocade in Rose Pink with antique bead coloured kundan work worn over Beige crepe-de-chine churidar and sheer Georgette dupatta."

"Typical traditional Mughal Umrao Jaan cut flaired long chikenkari kurta in charcoal Grey with panels fitted at the waist with chiffon rouched bodice adorned with single stone broach and zardosi work teamed with crepe-de-chine churidar and chiffon dupatta."

"Modern version of Anarkali created using tomato Pink Georgette, in halter cut bodice with Chinese collar embellished in antique Gold star pattern, jal attached to matching panel ghera with sprinkled tikies allover teamed with gathered churidar and sheer dupatta."

"Exquisite style with luxurious fabric showcased in Burgundy colour neck, high waist bodice attached to Ivory chikankari ghera creating Anarakali effect divided by jewelled belt and attached dupatta with slattered sequins spray worn with Burgundy crepe-de-chine churidar."

I hope that helped shed more light on the different style Anarkali churidars/suits/dresses on the market. There are a lot of variations out there, go for a cut that flatters your figure, a colour that brings out your skin tone and a design you're comfortable wearing.

Most of these Anarkali suits are from Seasonsindia.

They're not inexpensive though. Try Homeindia for slightly less pricey Anarkali suits.
